Polish Centre for Research, Education and Monitoring of Fertility Problems was set up on the initiative of the Association for the Development of Contemporary Diagnostic Methods and Infertility Treatment “The Child” (Stowarzyszenie na Rzecz Doskonalenia Współczesnych Metod Diagnostyki i Leczenia Niepłodności „Dziecko”). It operates as a cluster for innovation-friendly and highly specialised small and medium size companies, research and development units, associations from the business and science sectors as well as universities. Its mission is the support of the social and economic development of the medical industry with a special focus on reproductive medicine. The cooperation with VitroLive within the framework of the cluster is based on the transfer of knowledge, technology and innovative solutions.
The Research Centre for Human Embroyology is an original project set up with the goal of developing and implementing programmes promoting fertility preservation and higher standards in infertility treatment. As an expert initiative covering several medical and social fields, the Centre strives to create space for the exchange of knowledge and know-how – not only for infertility treatment specialists, but also for members of the public interested in factual debates on reproductive health in Poland. One of the leading spokespeople for the Centre is Prof Rafał Kurzawa from VitroLive, who trains medical staff there as well as devising educational and guidance material to inform public opinion.

The Association for Infertility Treatment and Adoption Support “Our Stork” is a dynamic group of people supporting couples struggling with infertility. The Association serves as a platform for the exchange of experiences on diagnosing infertility, its treatment as well as other important issues such as psychological support, the criteria for choosing a clinic, diet etc. VitroLive supports the Association’s advocacy for Patients both professionally, by offering expert consultations for Members, as well as practically by devising special offers for Patients connected to “Our Stork.”
Pomeranian Medical University is a prestigious research and training institution with four faculties: Medicine, Medicine and Dentistry, Medicine and Biotechnology and Laboratory Medicine as well as the Faculty of Health Science. It offers twelve degree courses, including master degrees as well as different level under- and postgraduate studies. The research and teaching team consists of over 620 staff members. DIETETICA offers innovative genetic testing as well as a selection of recommendations for improving the quality of life. Precise diagnostics as well as specialised support offered in the DIETETICA treatment rooms form the basis of a promoted support system. This enables to understand the aim of introducing nutritional and lifestyle modifications. VitroLive Patients are referred to DIETETICA when they need support in stabilising their diet. The quality of the services has been proven by audits carried out as part of the ISO 15189:2008, ISO 17 025 and ISO 9001:2008 norm certifications. Thanks to close cooperation between VitroLive and the DIAGNOSTYKA network, Patients can carry out all laboratory analysis nationwide, based on collected materials in Szczecin or Gorzów Wielkopolski.
NZOZ Meditest. Diagnostyka Medyczna (Medical Diagnostics) based in Szczecin has been active since 2002 and is one of the most advanced units delivering services in the fields of anatomical pathology, histopathology and molecular genetics. An experienced team comprised of experts in the field of anatomical pathology, histopathology, laboratory diagnostics and biotechnology conducts the testing in anatomical pathology and molecular genetics using modern and professional laboratory equipment. One of the main goals of the laboratory is the promotion of cervical cancer prevention and the close cooperation with VitroLive is certainly helpful in this regard.
Inter Medical in Kołobrzeg is a modern unit providing a home for a family medicine and specialist clinic as well as a medical imagining department and a laboratory. The same building also hosts a rehabilitation unit. Regular medical consultation with specialists from the VitroLive Clinic take place in the Inter Medical premises.
The DIAGEN clinic was set up five years ago as a direct continuation of the work carried out at the Antenatal Clinic’s of the Pomeranian Medical University’s (PUM) Genetics Unit, including its entire medical and non-academic staff. The clinic employs three specialists in clinical genetics, including two with a professor title, four in obstetrics and gynaecology and three in genetic laboratory diagnostics. The testing is based on two distinctive pillars: antenatal and cytogenetic diagnostics. The first unit offers a comprehensive testing package for antenatal testing, including first trimester screening, chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis, whereas the laboratory offers a broad range of classic cytogenetic and molecular testing for antenatal screening as well as for children and adults. The clinic collaborates with several genetic units in Poland and abroad. VitroLive patients are referred to DIAGEN for testing in the field of infertility genetics.
